Yvonne Gambini, MSN FNP-C

Yvonne started in nursing in 1976, and in 1993 obtained her nurse practitioner degree, specializing in Woman’s Health.  She went on to receive her Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University in 1998.  Since graduating she has worked from one end of the globe to the other, including places such as Africa, Australia, and Antartica.  Additionally, she holds licenses in numerous states in the U.S including Alaska and Hawaii.

Ten years ago, Yvonne fell in love with Alaska and has since made it her home.  She has been practicing primary care and emergency medicine in various communities and villages throughout Alaska,  but recently resigned from her position delivering medical care on the North Slope to take a permanent position with The Family Health Center.

Yvonne has many interests besides work, and enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and mini-farm animals (including her prized mini-donkeys).  She is a true adventurer and enjoys all the outdoor activities that Alaska has to offer.

We are so pleased that she is joining The Family Health Center, the oldest primary care clinic in the valley.
