Linda Sloan, MD
Dr. Linda Sloan is a lifelong Alaskan who grew up in Unalakleet and has lived in Palmer since 1983. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School (1974) and of the Family Practice Residency of Duluth (1977). From there she returned to her birthplace, Nome, Alaska, where she was employed by the Norton Sound Health Corporation for 5 years before moving to Palmer. She, with Dr. Michael Moser, started The Family Health Center (TFHC) in 1985.
When not working, she is commonly seen pursuing outdoor interests such as running, skiing, hiking, kayaking, and biking, often with her husband Phil. She has also enjoyed playing violin with the Matanuska-Susitna Orchestra for several years.
